If you are asking should you shoot the same? Yes, not enough yards to matter.

I'm not 100% sure that I know what your asking, but I hope this helps. Yardage is based only on the horizontal distance and not the diagonal distance. So if you are shooting 15 yards on flat ground and go up 20 foot. The distance may actually be 20 yards but it is still the same as only shooting 15 yards as far as arrow drop is concerned.

Your question has some serious flaws. If it's what I think you're asking I hope I don't have to draw out a triangle for you and explain basic geometry...

Here's a sceanrio from when I was shooting 3D.
On one particular course, there were two stakes touching each other. They were shots on two targets placed down a steep hill. A very steep hill. Typically, the front target would be an Antelope or Deer. The back target would be a Javelina or turkey. The angle was steep enough that you had to shoot under the belly of the front target to hit the back target. Of course, you had to call your shot. What's relevant to your question is that the front target was usually around 35 to 40 yards away (targets rotated and relocated every week) and the back target about 8 to 10 yards farther. In order to hit the front target at 35 yards, we would use our 20 yard pin and adjust a little. These weren't the super fast bows of today but were still shooting 270+ fps. Just my personal experience.
BTW, the same sight adjustments were necessary when shooting up that same hill.
Practice doesn’t make perfect. Practice makes permanent.

My tree I hunt in is 15 yards from my feeder but i'm 18 feet in the air. I used my range finder and it said 19 yards to the base of the feeder but I shoots the 15 yard pin.

I have a 17.5 yard pin... They sent it to me as a free gift when I ordered my left-handed hammer. I had to adjust all of my tripods though...

The answer to your question is no 15 yards is not 15 yards elevated. But the difference is less than two yards

I suggest you try it in simulated conditions of your stand or from your actual stand. What often happens is that because of the angle archers lower their bow arm instead of bending at the waist and the change in angle and anchor point can do funny things with your shot.

Wow, yall made this kinda hard. Start with a 20yd pin and go every 10yrd after that. there isnt a big enough difference from 15 to 20 to worry with.
The world is jam packed full of idiots!!! Don't be an idiot!!! Carry a big gun!!!

When up in a tree focus more on your form and bending at the waist then what the difference is do to the angle under 30 yards. Your 3rd axis will mess you up more then being 2-3 yards short or long

I hunt out of 15' ladder stands. At 20 yards I'm usually an inch and a half high vs shooting on level ground. Is that the "geometry" or my form? IDK but I do know that from my "field experience" what I can expect. Answers from a forum gives you a rough idea of what to expect. Go shoot your bow in the conditions of the hunt. When I draw on an animal I don't like to have anything that I'm not sure about to throw off my focus.

The simple answer is to measure from the base of your tree or stand. Use that distance.
