Does anyone have experience with this gun. Or have another option in the $400 range? Thanks for any help

I really like mine, It's a 22-250. The bolt is a little short but
no big deal. I don't know if I'm accurate or the gun is but it doesn't miss!

I have nothing but good things to say about them. Although the action is different, they use the same barrels that come on their Icon series. I have one in 30-06 and it is the most accurate out of the box rifle I have ever purchased. It is the only bolt action rifle in my safe that is bone stock, the rest have all been tweaked to some degree or another. Go for it, Vortex Diamond Back is a great suggestions for a scope for it.

Went to cabelas to buy my gun, didn't have it in 270 frown . Checked out the vortex and that's one awesome scope. I went to the texas trophy hunters assoc. Show this year and I saw a low light scope that was really impressive, did anyone see that same one, what was the name of it? Primarily this gun would be for hogs and coyotes so I was thinking about that other scope.
