You're asking a lot for $10 an hour.

You are right but I am looking for someone that is young and would like a career. That is just the starting pay. Pay with increase as you learn..

Inspections aren't difficult.

Can I ask what company you work for, is it a local company?

I used to work for TVA/Telgian and that is what we did. Mostly for Home Depot. I have probably been in every Home Depot in the southwest. Most of the new ones I opened. Zone maps at the front of the store by the alarm panel, I did all of those.

I guess being on govt support is better than having a stable job with benefits and vacation...???

If you make the correlation of "full benefits" to mean medical, dental, and optometrical (sp?). At $10 an hr you are looking at $20k a year (assuming 2080 hrs per year) and add 15k to that for worth of benefits (assuming all benefits is really all benefits) you could say the job is worth $35k. Pretty good for someone right out of high school with no real skills developed. However if it is just benefits offered (in other words you pay for most of your insurance out of your check) then you are talking about a 25k a year job... about what you would get at Walmart or Walgreens.

This is just a starting position...(helper). I'm not asking for someone with a bachelor's degree. I would like someone young that would like to learn a trade and make more money as he learns. Your not going to make 10 for the rest of your life..

This is a GREAT opp. for getting you foot in the door and getting a job with benefits. I make 10 and no benefits and if i were closer i'd take it in a heartbeat. Plus it is entry level which is very hard to find thses days. Overall a very generous lead to a job with great potential.

He wants someone to live close to him for $10 hour. It is asking for a lot for $10 hour. In and Out Burger start off at $10/hour and they are building them everywhere.

I have to agree that $10/hr is the new minimum wage. His target employee though is a "never worked before, fresh out of school" kid it seems.

Barndor....I am looking for someone that lives close to me so I can pick them up at the house or they can meet me at my house. As a helper you don't start out making much money but it is not easy to get started in this industry. Yes in & out may may 10 buy that's where you will still be in 5 yrs also. Most traded for a starter are going to pay 10-11 an hour. I'm not getting what y'all don't understand. As you learn and achieve licenses you will get drastic pay increases.

No it's not. Sounds like a wonderful opportunity. Fresh out of high school, I would've been all over this like flies on poo. Best of luck to you on finding a young buckaroo to fill this position.

It would matter if you have to use your own car to get to the inspections. You may want to stipulate how that works.

I drive a company vehicle and could pick someone up, meet them off the highway, my house, or just whatever we can figure out. Then in the future my helper will be working to get their own truck.
