Ladies and gentlemen some of y'all have seen the glass fish and have heard me sing the praises of him as a glassblower. Well I am starting something, Matt grew up without a lot of money and found his passion and skill in glassblowing early on, age 15 I believe, he is one of the kindest souls I have ever met, He donated the glass fish to Heroes On the Water to help raise money for injured vets, he used his own glass products to make it and never asked for anything in return. I made the small gesture of wrapping his blowpipe handle in 550 cord and brought it home to do so. After looking at the pipe and knowing it was given to him second hand and pretty bent up, he straightened it out and uses it to make art. He is one of the best I know and would only be better if he had better equipment. I am taking up a collection to help me buy him a new blowpipe. My goal is $214.00, that buys him a standard workhorse pipe for 180 and 34 dollars to ship it to me. I may have it engraved as well if I can get the money. Please message me if you would like to donate, no donation is too big or too small. Pics of the glass fish Matt made and donated to Heroes On the Water.
