Anyone know why all the shops in my area, (Waco) and maybe yours too, seem to be getting powder shipments in from IMR, Hodg, Win, etc. but no one here has gotten a single bottle of imr4064. They all have plenty of nearly every other powder in stock right now, just not 4064. Folks at the shops can't say why. Thought maybe some of you may know the secret. Just happens to be the one powder I use a lot for my 243 and am low.

I have you covered..... again. whistle
I do have a 1lb that if I have used any out of it I don't remember it but I am forgetful.
I think I bought it then decided to use AR Comp instead but that was last summer so who knows what I was thinking back then. confused2

IMR 4064 is a good powder for a WIDE range of calibers and bullet weights. It wouldn't be surprising to me to see a shortage of it.

Lots of Military use of this powder burn rate also.

Yup. I load a lot of 8x57mm JS Mauser. IMR 4064 and Sierra 175 grain ProHunters seem like they were made for each other.

If you want to see what calibers it's compatible with, just flip through any load manual. For centerfire rifle, there's a BUNCH of them.

Its good for any cases between .308 to .30-06 size.

My 8x57mm loves it as does my 6.5x55mm.
