Anyone know what the hog populations are like in the areas surrounding Archer City? I know it will vary by property quality, etc., but I'm trying to get a feel for the general population level.

No hogs.
A few hogs.
Some hogs.
Plenty of hogs.
Overrun with hogs.

Thanks

I did a two hour hunt on the Switch House Ranch a few months back. We didn't hunt all night and didn't see any hogs, but we saw a lot of sign from them. The place was covered up in coyotes though. If I would have been able to stay longer I'm certain we would have spotted some hogs.

See if you can find Clay Reid on here, I haven't seen in a couple of months posting but try search for Texas Coyote Calling Contest. Archer county is his home country, he should be able to help.

We have lots of hogs. I am NW of Archer City and the drought a couple of years ago really hurt them(2011). You will find more of them along the creeks, rivers and lake areas.

A lot of pigs out there. I hunt close to Dundee and we see/kill pigs eveytime we go out.
