Any of yall been recently to canton trades day? If so, where do I need to go while the wife is doing her shopping? Also I am looking for a female catahoula pup, yall think I could find one there? Thanks, TRCC

That would be the last place on Earth I would consider buying a dog from. Don't know about the other stuff though.

That would be the last place on Earth I would consider buying a dog from. Don't know about the other stuff though. +1,000,000
Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.

You could find one there but be careful, there is a fair chance the dog might get sick from being handled too much there. Most of the people breeding there run what might be referred to as a puppy mill. That being said you might find a rancher there selling some. Good luck.

"Dog Alley" at First Monday once was THE PLACE to buy a sick puppy.....stressed, unvaccinated, and wormy. But thanks mainly to my buddy, Canton vet E. Ray Davis, the place has really cleaned up its act.
Nowadays, Canton puppies are almost as healthy as those available from private sellers. Just be sure you get paperwork with the breeder's address and phone number, plus a health guarantee. And just as with any new pup, get it checked out by your own vet, pronto.
