My wife dad brother and me hit choke canyon this past Friday for some fishing weather was a little chilly after the sun went down, but we had a fun trip stockin up some fish. Caught the two yellas and a blue on trotline and the rest on r&r before it got cold and bite fell off.   matt

how was the water levels? Lake is about 21 foot low, I haven't seen it this way in a long time. All the fish look nice and healthy, just a pain in the arse that you cant run up on plane most places any more. We launched and probably never broke 5 mph.

I'm ready! I hadn't been fishing in a while, told my dad and brother "this was fun, we need to do this more often"
I love to death the place we bough to hunt, but while we are still workin on stuff there it severely eats into my fishing time.

Nice. I have always heard that Choke Canyon is great for catfish.
