I walked my butt off this year and it paid off. I had plans to walk a new awesome ranch, but due to circumstances with my contact for that ranch it will have to wait til next year.

I walked my usual spots several times and walked 1 new ranch I got permission to be on. I plan to go back in a week or 2 to clean up what I may have missed. This has been my best year ever.

I hope to walk a little more at a ranch I am going axis hunting at Friday and hope to find a few more good ones. Along with a giant axis.

As the title says 165 sheds (8 sets) and 8 skulls.

Mostly year old and older sheds.

Skulls......The back row middle 8 pt was a rifle kill I shot in 2011, but couldn't find him. Finally did this Spring.


My favorite part. Sets I found. I found 8 total but I mixed them up in the last picture and forgot to pull them out for this picture. Back left scored 148" with an 18" spread. 8 under him scored 136 with 17" spread.


Pretty much all fresh ones. A few big big older ones but 98% fresh.

Great finds, wish I lived close enough to spend more time looking for sheds. Cows and vermin get most of ours I guess.

Way to go I walked my BoBo off this year and only found a couple of small ones.

Thx guys. Not sure how many miles I walked but if I had to venture a guess I would say around 100 miles in 2.5 months of looking. I went out every weekend also and during the week when time allowed.

I keep all of the good ones and good big old sheds. The weathered ones and small ones I give away to whomever.

No pics of that guy alive cameron00 as I found him on my new ranch I was able to look on.

I will try to take pics of my hunting room and how I display them. I almost (yes almost) love shed hunting more than real hunting.
