My wife and I were in Port O'Connor sunday, and happened up on this at one of the boat launches in town. They were loading these cattle off the barge on to the gooseneck. I would assume that they came from Matagorda Island. 
Bartender, bring me anything except brake fluid, cause I don't plan on stopping!

Naw, I think they came off that island in the background of the photo. I launch a kayak from there frequently and always see...or smell the cattle on the island.

Na they came off the barrier island that is right next to matagorda island....its about 7 miles long and about 3-4 miles from that boat ramp... my buddy has a beach house on it and always see the cattle while we are out there.... pretty cool place we loaded my dirtbike in the boat and hauled it out there last time i went....
