I have a Simmons scope on my .22LR. I have had it forever, and it has always shot perfectly. I know Simmons isn't the best brand, but its on a .22 so I figured it would be fine.
Anyways, one of my buddies dropped my gun when we were walking around so he could catch himself when he tripped. The scope fell off the gun and I went to resight it in today. It still shoots in quarter size groups at 25 yards so the gun is fine. My problem is it is shooting about 1-1.5 inches right and it won't go left. I must have put 150 rounds through the gun today and no matter how many clicks I turned it never moved to the left.
Any ideas?

Thanks,
Olen

Also, more than likely going to just buy a new scope. Any suggestions on one? It's a Remington .22

Thanks,
Olen

The scope is done. Something inside came from together to apart. I bet there's no warranty so it's over. Buy another scope.

That's what I figured. I know it's not a good scope by any means, but it always shot straight for me. Any suggestions on a new scope?

Thanks,
Olen

For a 22, any semi-reputable brand that fits your budget. No need to go crazy.

I think I have a simmons on my model 60 that I have had for 15 years or longer.

If you want to spend a little more, look at some of Vortex's lower end models; that might be nice.

+1 on Vortex lower end.

Or you could get crazy, and put a picatinny rail on your. 22 lr, one on one of your centerfires, good set of rings and bounce one good scope between two rifles.

Vortex sounds alright. The Simmons lasted me for about 12-15 years. Can't quite remember. Any specific models y'all prefer on the vortex?

Thanks,
Olen

Look at the Crossfire line. I don't know how far you shoot your. 22lr or how much magnification you want, but I bet one of em would work.

I am not looking at anything over 50 yards for the most part. The main thing I use it for is driving around at the lease and getting rabbits coons possums etc.

Thanks,
Olen

I really like my BSA Sweet .22. It's inexpensive, and the visual quality is much better than I expected. Mine is mounted on a 10/22.

Jason forgot to mention to you, that Vortex offers a Unlimited Lifetime warranty on all of their riflescopes.

Called the VIP Warranty.

Yes I did. That is an important fact about them. Thanks for adding Skylar.
