Yeah not to far north . A lot of my pictures are taken between Fort Worth to Jacksboro mostly and some as I travel texas at times

Thank you . I got the camera last year to take to the deer stand to pass time . Little did I know how addictive it is . Let alone expensive . I am by far not professional being never have had any training . It's all by trial and error learning by experimenting with the settings

These hummingbirds were by far my most challenging pictures I have taken . I used a high shutter speed on my Nikon D90 with Sb910 flash and 70-200 zoom lens

And you are 100% correct about cost. Good Lord, lenses are expensive, especially the good ones.

Thanks , hopefully I will purchase a 70-200 F2.8 vr|| lens in near future. I've recently purchased Lightroom 4 and learning all it offers . I'd like to be able to travel to a game ranch or south Texas to photograph some great bucks or somewhere for varmint or turkey shots

Just FYI,
Precision Camera in Austin has a used Nikon AF 200-400mm f/4 lens for $3700.00.

The sales lady I normally deal with has been trying to get me to ditch Canon and go Nikon. She offered me a sweet deal on that lens and a N7100 body. I have to admit, if I had the money I would have been sorely tempted.

Thanks for heads up . If it wasn't for me having to put money down on a house soon I'd be tempted as well . Canon and Nikon are both great cameras just depends on who you talk to . It's like Ford compared to Chevy and what your likes are. By the way I like your photography as well keep up the great work.
