So is our fine government going to ban pressure cookers now that they have said that the bombs used in Boston were made with pressure cookers? It could be classified as assault pressure cooker and by the size of the cooker is it a high capacity pressure cooker ? If they want to nit pick our guns we should do the same on other items that cause injury and deaths!!!!!

I am a legal pressure cooker owner, however I am all for better background checks on pressure cooker internet sales. And we MUST shut down the garage sale/flea market loophole!!!

Actually 9/11 was caused by the planes, therefore all planes should be banned.

you may be on to something bignate. After thinking about it, box cutters may be more dangerous than planes or guns combined. we need to get on that immediately

I don't understand why anyone who cooks would need a device like that? Just go get yourself a double boiler...

I mean if they wouldnt have had those box cutters those planes had a really good chance of not crashing but they are so worried about our guns they fail to see other things are just as dangerous that's what they need to see if we can get them to open their eyes and just use a little common sense which I know they don't have!!

I would bet if you went to a grocery store and polled the people coming out of the store on how many owned a pressure cooker, it would be a low percentage. If you asked how many used one in the last 3 months, it would be even less.

Then you would have a percentage of them that you would have to explain what a pressure cooker is and what it is used for. Some would then tell you that you are lying to them, that there is no such thing as a pressure cooker. up

To a liberal, it should make perfect sense that the pressure cooker needs to be banned. As with a firearm, it is not the person who loaded the bomb in the pressure cooker and set it off, it was the fact that the pressure cooker exist and is simply out there so that a bomber could use it as a bomb.

If nothing else, pressure cookers should only be large enough to to hold a pint of liquid, after all no needs several gallons of anything, it will simply make you gain weight.....

They could require background checks to purchase ball bearings and nails too.
