Looking for a little help with this project. I recently aquired a really nice Bison skull, complete with the horn covers. Its a little dirty and naturally some of the very thin bone in the middle nasal area is very brittle. What Im basically trying to find out is, what is the best way to clean up this skull and whiten it. After its clean, is there something I can add to or put on the skull to help stabilize the whole thing. The plan is to get it very clean and solid then paint, seal and hang it as a decoration for my hunting cabin in Childress. Thanks in advance for the tips.

if you just spray paint it it should help a little bit but it sounds like it was either boiled too long or just old so you probably just need to be gentile.

Cant beat a 270 WSM with a good hunter behind it.
