Has anyone been to cheaper than dirts website .. And the pricing of the ammo. That better be a mistake '! 9 ammo going for 70 for a box of 50!

Not a mistake. They've been riding the craze for months now.

Will never use them again. Many other good places to get your items without being gouged

No, I was at Home Depot the other day, and a bag of dirt is only about $5. The only thing you can buy for $5 at CTD is a 50 round box of .22 ammo.

CTD has always had high shipping/handling costs compared to the others. Their "riding the wave" is inexcusable and unnecessary.

I don't think they care what we think as long as they have enough business to keep the bank account full.

I unsubscribed from their email ads. Most businesses that care ask for a brief survey telling them why you are unsubscribing. CTD just said "bye". I hope their smugness brings them a Chapter 13.

Maybe they should change the name of the store to Higher than a Kite?

CTD is not a joke, it's an example of the darker parts of human nature. I have a list and principles, I won't be losing either.
BTW CTD hasn't affected me with this mess. I used to refer to them on occasion for some odd ammo or parts. I consider gun owners "my people" And I can't stand to see us mistreated. I'd rather order from Eric Holder anyway. They have the coolest stuff!

During these kind of crisis, companies can either take the high road or the low road. The one's that take the low road make a quick profit, but also identify themselves as greedy thieves. They lose my and many people's business in the end. Those that take the high road also identify themselves, but as businesses with integrity who pride themselves in the satisfaction of their customers. They understand that having one customer who purchases multiple times is better than many customers who purchase once. Believe it or not, in the long run, actions speak louder than advertisements. In an age of start up businesses and relentless competition, the ones who struggle along side their customers are the ones that prosper in the end. CTD lost my business, MidwayUSA gained it ten-fold!

Now I'll step down from my soap box...

I have no problem with CTD and their pricing policies. It's their goods and they can charge whatever they desire. I, otoh, have the option of going elsewhere.

Like the Godfather said, "It's just business.".

Yup, just business. We as consumers decide who to give our business to, and it's how people deal with these kind of situations that make that decision easier.
