They are more available at local shops now, still 1-200 bucks higher than before.

Just another 6 months till ammo stabilizes. . .and we'll have another "incedent" before then.

Don't worry, there's plenty of folks still trying to get $1800-2500 for their AR.

It has a foreward handgrip! It's custom!

Isnt that the truth, it is so hard not to comment on ads in the classifieds here with these Frankenstein POS AR's or low end AR's that guys are trying to sell for stupid prices. And almost every one of them has at the top of the thread....."Selling for a friend"!

You go to Allen buy a 1/2 dozen put a couple Chinese lasers and knock off grip pods on them. Then resell them on Gunbroker for double the price for your friends.

Would pay for a good bolt action rifle and your lease expenses for the year.

There was a time to do that when it would have been profitable, right now is not it!

Thats not completely true. Sure, in our DFW microcosm they are available but that doesnt mean Joe Redneck in BFE can get his hands on one. All he has is the internet and mama's credit card.
I think we will see a 2nd wave of purchases. All those guys who refuse to pay $2k for one (you know, the same guys who didnt want one before the crazyness) will now be in the market.

Well, that's all well and good but since ammo is so darned scarce and high, I'm really not interested much anymore. Components for hand loading are getting very scarce as well.

I've been playing with my bolt actions lately. When all the shenannigans blow over, I may be interested in another AR.

Went to cabela's tonight and was shocked to see 4 racks full of ARs. Sigs and Bushmasters. No lines, no cars in the lot. Pretty quiet.

What did the pricing look like on the AR's?

Any .223 ammo?
