On our lease we have the following stand names.
JimBo's on the hill stand
Jimbo's by the tank stand
Jimbo's the chit hole stand
Bob's main stand
Bob's 160 stand
Steve's by the creek stand
Steve's north of camp stand
Curt's mesquite flat stand
Curt's northeast of camp stand
Heath's draw stand
Heath's 160 stand
For some strange reason none of us like hunt in JimBo's chit hole stand!!!

Like others mentioned nick name was based on location:
the bluff blind
the draw blind
oat pasture blind, etc.
Other places we have used the numbers for locations on our lease map and sign in sheet.

At my uncle's place:
Cemetery Blind --- because it is right by a family cemetery plot.
Millionaire Blind --- because it is a "store bought" $2500 tower blind that one of my cousins donated to the place (he's the favorite nephew now instead of me lol).
The Condo --- because my brother and I added a lower level extension to stay in the blind all day, even sleep in it before my uncle built a base camp with cabin and electricity.
No prayer in school....What's next, no thinking in church?

We're not too imaginative when it comes to naming blinds:
Front - in the front part of the lease
Tank dam - on the tank dam
County road North - back/north corner of lease along the county road
County road South - back/south corner of lease along the county road
Hog blind - located in swampy part of lease near small spring fed tank
Platform - remains of the platform of an old raised blind, where we converted the platform to a box blind

My Son & I share a blind called the The Condo Kind of a bland name but it fits. LOL... but a couple of our members Butch and Dick have a blind we all call "Butche's Dick". firstshot

The Butterfly stand - when my mom got her first grandbaby she said she was to young for grandma so she was known to the grandkid's as butterfly, she passed in 99 but that stand sight is still known as the butterfly stand even though it's a different member hunting it now.
My stand is Know as the Sally Johnson stand cause a lady by that name hunted that area about 25 yr's ago.
The Piney wood's stand was were my dad hunted in the middle of the piney wood's.
Keep it simple I guess !!! LOL
