I'm looking to buy a used bow for my daughter. She is 8 and loves to shoot and wants to start using sites. Any out there? Thank you

My niece has taken an interest in archery and she is about that age. She is using a Bear Brave III which retails new for less than $100 for a set up. For the price point, this is a good early youth bow, for me, I like it because I can make sure my niece is going to maintain an interest before spending more for a major brand youth model. Good luck - I'm always glad to see young people take an interest in this sport and outdoors in general.

Thank you, she has that same bow and loves it. She said she is ready to up and start using sites. Looking at a diamond atomic. If anybody knows about this bow please let me know.

The razors edge by Diamond, is great, you can change out the limbs from youth to adult as she grows. I the it cost $100.00 to change out the limbs,2 bows in 1.

I have a Razor Edge I'll make a deal on. Shot maybe 3 different times. I have a youth release as well.

My son is 8, he has been shooting the Atomic since Santa brought it for Christmas. He loves it and it shoots well. The Infinite Edge is nice as well(5-70lbs), but is bigger. Depending on her size she may enjoy the smaller size of the Atomic.

I went through this with my daughter (she's about to turn 10).
She started out with a Diamond Nuclear Ice (now replaced by the Atomic). It was a great little bow for her to start with. She got to the point she was about maxed out on adjustment, and shooting ability.
Now she's shooting a Hoyt Ruckus. It is an intermediate bow, one that she can shoot for a long time to come. I was sold on it by the techs, and the fit and finish being a bit nicer than the Diamond and Mission bows for the same money.
She shoots a couple of times a week, and is getting pretty darn good.
