 New Knife Design (Sort of Like a Sharp Finger)

I've always liked the blade design of the Schrade Sharp Finger,but never have warmed up to the design of the handle. Thought I'd try to find a compromise and this is what I came up with. Blade is very similar to the sharp finger but the handle is larger and really gives you something to grip. Alabama Buckshot Damascus with English Walnut scales with black liners and copper pins. Had a small weld de-lamination show up in the spine of the blade. It really won't effect the function of the blade or the knife but I guess I'll have to keep this one or sell it as is for a reduced price.

I have always like that design; I've sold a lot of that one.
I've never done one out Damascus; but I might that looks awesome. Love that bird's eye pattern.

good looking knife, those de-laminations occur from time to time with damascus, unfortunately. But like you said it won't affect the function of the blade.
If it ain't sharp, it's just a piece of metal.

Nice design. The sharpfingers are a tried and true blade. Great little skinning and fish preparing knife.

Got my knife and all I can say is WOW!
If you ever get a chance to buy a knife from Mike do not pass it up. He does very nice work.

Nice Mike, I agree the handles on these things suck, I have done a few of these and also change the handles to make them a lot more comfortable.
