Shame the Kaufman DA and his wife didn't share the same fate as this Colorado prosecutor.

X3 I love it when the bad guy gets it. I wish the media would air more stories like this to get people thinking about what could happen to them if they try to break in a house.

You won't see stories like this in the mainstream 6 o'clock news because this does not play along with the new media rules for handling stories about weapons. The AP just updated their media style guide and may have slipped a few nuances by the general public, such as the following:
1. All firearms used in the commission of crimes are to be called either "assault rifle" or "Glock". The inclusion of "high capacity magazines" in reporting is mandatory.
2. Anyone who is arrested for a weapons violation automatically is in possession of an "arsenal" when owning more than 1 firearm.
3. All persons utilizing a gun during a negligent shooting are to remain free of guilt; i.e. "the gun just went off".
4. When citizens who have children use firearms for sport or hunting, those persons are subject to reporting to local CPS agents and local law enforcement.
5. All sources must include references from either The Brady Institute for Gun Violence or Mayors against Illegal Guns. At no time will an author cite actual crime statistics, the National Sports Shooting Foundation, NRA, GOA, or any such 2nd Amendment backing organization.
