Rowdy is 6 and does some hunting, he is known to be alittle aggressive to strangers and other male dogs. I'm haveing to get ride of him because of haveing a 1 year old son. He is and always has been rised inside. If anyone knows of somebody who may want him pleases let me know. It is inportant that I'm conferable with his new owner. As of know he is scheduled to be put to sleep next week. Here is a pic of him, and have aolt more if interesed

This pic was taken in late january when he went a 100 yards to find a mallard hiding under some tree tops. photobucket

Just a thought but can't you turn him into a rescue before you put him down? If he's only 6 he's got a lot of life left in him. I have 3 dogs already or I would be interested. I will ask around and see if anyone has room for him.

I've called the cbrescue and they could take him because he has bitten before. She turned me on the a guy who wanted to put him outside on a ranch where he could run off.

Contact your breeder. They better take him back. All reputable breeders will. Your breeder is the first one you should contact if you have any issues what so ever with your dog.

Good Luck! I'm sorry you have to do this.

Here's the national rescue. If the breeder won't take him back they can hook you up with someone that will not send him to a ranch to roam and get into trouble.

Jeff is a great guy. I wouldn't hesitate letting him take him.

As long as he know's what he's getting into. A chessie with issues is not for everybody.. Unless you know the breed and know how to deal with such issues I would advise NOT taking on a dog like this...

Just my 2 cents. As you all know my personal dog is a chessie and I train a bunch of them...
