A few buddies and I are headed to a new lease this weekend in Val Verde County and I am curious if any one has seen any birds working over that way? Mainly headed down to get acquainted with the lease and set up some feeder and just do all around work but wouldnt mind getting out and trying to call in a few birds.

The Martin Ranch, West of 2523 and South of 334 has one of the biggest flocks of Rio Grands in Texas. If you are anywhere in that area, and have water you should be good to go..
