I got my 1911 cerakoted two tone with an OD green frame and fde slide. Where is the best place to look for a wide variety of grips to choose from? The wood grips don't look right on it now. Thanks in advance for any suggestions....

I am a big fan of Hogue's panel grips. They are checkered rubber in the diamond pattern and come in a variety of colors. They are as slim as you can get with regular bushings and run $12 or so a set. Very stable for a rubber grip.

VZgrips.com or raascogrips.com; I've used both and they are great to deal with.

eBay. Even if you don't buy there, it's a good place to see a bunch of options.

www.gripus.comThese guy's are in San Angelo, they make some pretty cool grips out of wood and other materials. Their prices are reasonable too.

I like the VZ grips also. Lots of different designs with varying amounts of texture and they look and feel great.

Anyone have or held the VZ Operator IIs?? I am looking for an aggressive grip for my 1911. My palms sweat a decent amount and the slick wood grips do ok, but i want more.
