A Super Blackhawk with a 5 1/2 to 7 1/2 inch barrel is hard to beat but my personal favorite is 5 1/2 inch Blackhawk convertable in 45 LC and 45 ACP.

Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

Everyone wants the .44 mag. What's wrong with a .41 mag other than it's not multicaliber? I have had a Ruger for years and love it. Ammo price isn't that different either. Just asking for opinions.

I have a Marlin 336S in .41 magnum along with a Ruger Bisley and a Dan Wesson (4"/8") in the same calibre. It's a great cartridge, but if I did it again i'd go with the .44. Reloading it really reduces the costs and there's some great cast bullets available in .41, but there's just more options in .44

Ruger Super Blackhawk 3.75" Bisley. Very handy and comfortable to shoot.

Ruger super Blackhawk. Single action trigger and traditional look in a big revolver that's fun to shoot.

She was only a whiskey maker, but he loved her still.

Tehachapi, I would love to have a rifle in .41 to match the pistol but haven't been able to find one. Wasn't sure it was even possible to get that caliber in a rifle but now I have hope.

They are hard to find but Marlin has made runs of the 1894 in 41 Mag. Makes for a great little brush gun

Mainstream news might be fun to watch

Marlin made a couple of runs of .41 mag including one with an octagonal barrel for CAS iirc. Keep your eyes open they pop up occasionally.

Can't go wrong with Ruger anything. Their revolvers are built like tanks
