So I've decided that I'd like an ACOG with an RMR on top. I've shot three or four different styles over the past few years and I've loved them all so I thought I'd try to get some input from you guys.
I'm looking at the TA11D and the TA31A right now. I'm pretty sold on the red triangle, but is there any other advantage to a different reticle such as the chevron?
The 3.5x is 4oz heavier than the 4x, but the 3.5x has an extra 1" of eye relief. Any advantage of one over the other?
What RMR would you guys recommend? I prefer to stick with red. Have issues seeing the lighter colors.
Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Greg

I have Accupoint with green triangle. I would have preferred red as well. Only thing I dont like about triangle is doesnt seem terribly useful for precision shooting. Fast target acquisition its awesome

Thanks for the info guys. I got some great ideas. I ended up buying a TA11D and I'm going to buy the RMR after I decide if I really need it.

The cookies were awesome. We had them fresh weekly while my wife was pregnant. Man those were the days! I am still trying to get rid of the ol' spare tire.
