Ok everyone. I got a 410 single shot the other day. I want to go rabbit hunting Wednesday I am thinking Sam Houston National Forest. So here is my question .....anyone want to take a noob out?? I do not mind self teaching but I thought I would ask. I want to hog hunt but I figured for a first field dressing experience I may as well start small. Well, maximum fun is to find a designated driver for a Jeep equipped with quail seats and have two gunners with a cooler of beer in between them up front while you cruise the lease roads - but I doubt that would fly at Sam Houston...

I met MAstarter/Jason out in the SHNF, we didn't see anything except lizards. But he was good people and we enjoyed some time outside.

well hunting is all we did didnt find any...they had recently done a controlled burn where we were. I brought my single shot 410
