Good advice when dealing with mainstream folks. However, as we know all too well, trying to argue against a liberal person's position is like trying to teach a pig to sing...
He is right though, it has taken us awhile to get where we are. I remember the good ole days of going to high school with an 870 in the back window gun rack of my truck. Nobody thought much about it. Now most folks look at you like you're strange if you own guns...

It is apparent to me, the anti-gun movement is not about gun control, it's bigger then that, there is a bigger agenda. If it were just about gun control, then we would have won by now. There have been more facts thrown at these people and all the facts have been ignored. There is no more debating with the anti-gun crowd, they have made their stand and we have made our stand.

Now, it's a matter of will power, who will out last who.

You are exactly correct.

Gun control has never been a a public safety issue. If it were, then the subject would no longer be up for debate, as the facts are in our favor.

But no....it continues to be an issue because the reality of it is that it is about the control of the population...period.

A disarmed populace, is easier to control.

It is also about dependency. An unarmed populace is dependent on government to protect them.

It's about what I like to call neo-feudalism.....a return to a privileged elite and lower-class...with the elimination of freedom for the lower-class.

It needs to be resisted by any means necessary.
