Needing a new duck blind so I'm going to start on one pretty soon during this off-season. Looking for ideas, different types of blinds.

My pit.

Ca this one pop top. It sits right in the middle of our lake. The roof makes all the difference in birds being comfortable flying over it. Simple welded frame on a platform with steps and dog ramp. Two flip open lids.

Quirks welding in ville platte,la. Awesome blinds.
Mine is a two-sided blinds built to put the rice levee that you can hunt both sides of the benched pending on the wind. His one sided blinds have much more room, headroom and storage space.

Those are very cool, but where I hunt there are extreme water level changes. 18" of water this week will be dry ground next week, or it will have 4' of water the next. Like seeing the different ways folks go about hunting duck.

Sounds like you need a floating blind.

Here's a time lapse video of my crew brushing up an old box blind last year. Just something I was playing with on the gopro camera.

Nice, How much did that cost and how do you get water out of it?
