There is a couple out of Melissa, TX that just had a littering pups. They want $300 a piece for them.
Check CL in the DFW area. They are great looking. Just went up there yesterday.

I talked to Charlie about a pup, he was asking $600 a couple years ago, from what I hear from their owners that's cheap. Great dogs

Wife and I walked into the gun show in San Antonio a couple of weeks ago and a fellow had German Wirehaired Pointers..Duestche Drathaars..$350..Needless to say, I now have 13 dogs..I did have to worm and give him all the shots..Breeder had done nothing..he
had some females left..Terry Guthrie was his name and I believe
he lived So. of San Antonio ..The pup we got is outstanding..DD

Call John Rabidou at Uodibar kennels in Hondo at 830-741-4169 or Hayley Killam at 512-771-4214 in Laredo/Austin/Freer or call Robbi Gulledge at Blue Dawn Kennels at 620-437-6380 in Madison, KS. All have websites. To get a good pup you're gonna need to drive 4-7 hours. Pups that are truly proven on wild birds and field trials each and every year. Can't recommend those folks any higher.

Try David Dyal @ D2 shorthairs, bluemountainpreserve.com (830)370-2070. He has dogs from Uodibar lines . Got a pup in September from him that was born in May. She was $600. Introcuded her to a few birds and the .22blank then shotgun with birds. She was hunting in november and looked good. I like her style, she has a shorter range and really covers the brush compared to my other shorthair. She will be great this next season.
