There are several food plots that have been set out in the past in the DCNF; they should show on their latest maps.

Used to hunt there every year and killed many a buck but it got too crowded and dangerous and had to give up gun huntin but might go back during bow season some day.

my son and I hunted there one year , loved it saw a lot of deer. We were lucky to get drawn out for doe tags. We stayed in the campground and that was so much fun. There are people so stay the whole season in that campground and hunt everyday. We found that during the week there are not too many people around , come Sat. morning the roads there look like the walmart parking lot ! If you go only hunt during the week it you can. We quit going because they stoped the doe tags , and we were lucky enough to find a lease we could afford.
