I have a lease in Illinois and it's pretty painless. You just need to look into the seasons and requirements as far as tags go. In Illinois we just have to enter a lottery drawing for archery tags but there are always tags available. I don't know about Indiana as far as if they do lottery draws or not.

Very easy. Just know when you need to apply for a permit and then do so. I ahve hunted Illinois and Missouri the last 5 years and it is very painless.
I avoid Dick's and hope they fold.

It varies state to state. Some are like Texas where you just need to buy an over-the-counter OOS license. Others require you to apply to draw a permit and deadlines are hitting right now. Montana is in March, Kansas is April, etc. Each states wildlife department website will have all the info. Good luck--and make sure you follow quirky rules like wearing hunter orange and not feeding corn or protein.

As stated above, check the Indiana state DNR(Department of Natural Resource) website. I know they allow the use of bow and shotguns. Not rifles. Lots of big deer. I was born there and most of my family still lives there. Haven't had the chance to hunt up there yet, but soon will. Good luck.

Not hard at all. You can get a nice spread in Mississippi for about $8-$11 per acre.

Its simple. Contact the local game and fish dept and see what and when seasons are and like said before if it is or is not a lottery. I had to do when i was stationed in ks and had just gotten back from iraq. It wasnt hard, but ks game n fish dont make it easy though, especially if ur not archery hunting. Traditional muzzle loader and rifle season where scattered and a person had to stay on top the paticular weapons allowed during a specific timeline.

Not too bad. Deer don't know they are out of state. LOL... I hunted Indiana 20 years ago and it was pretty simple from what I remember.
Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.
