Hey everyone, I am really new to the forum. I have looked around a bit and been on the TFF. I have hunted since I was a kid but all bird hunting only. This was the first chance I had to get a deer. I know it is nothing to brag about but I am still on cloud nine over the whole deal. I had such a great time. It is a little 8 point probably only about 3 years old. Not too bad for the first ever trip and first chance to shoulder a rifle on a buck. I also potted a couple of turkeys later that evening. Here we go.

That big buck....what do you think it would score? Being such a green horn I didn't try to measure it but it was obviously the biggest deer I had ever seen.
I was thinking about a 140 class or a little less??? Any thoughts?

Probably a "little less" bud,..maybe a 130 to 135. But "Who Cares!". He's still a "dandy" buck! And ya gotta admit, that "crab claw" is way cool!

Trig, I couldn't agree more. And that claw was so awesome. It was really cool. I have only been a bird hunter up till this trip and man it is way cool getting to shoot a deer. I am ready to go again, right now.
Hunt, the country is the panhandle, in Hall County. Hope that helps.
