If its the one I'm thinking about Jeremy Bryan is owner or co owner then your in the clear. I've heard they have a good operation and have been around for awhile. I had some buddies go on a teal hunt with them and it was lights out!

I thought about joining his membership this year. I called him a couple weeks ago and he was extremely honest and didn't beat around the bush about their hunts. he said they had a 50/50 season this past year bc of lack of water and in his opinion it would be tough paying the money for having a bad season but that he was really excited about a property he was about to obtain that would always have water. his kind of honesty has me seriously thinking about giving it a try, i just had too good of a year hunting public so we'll see

I am actually moving to Katy and had seen his add about his properties being in the Katy/Brookshire area. Keep me posted what you find out about this operation. I will be needing a place in the fall.

I have no idea on that particular outfitter / club but I have learned the hard way, If your club day leases the property you will get second hand spots unless you slide in with a day hunt group. The money is the day hunters not the season leases.

It is the one with Jeremy Bryan. I got the impression he wasn't trying to sell anyone on the lease being honest about some good and bad days. For dove it seems a season lease in the area is between them and wgohunt.com. I'm a little worried about wgo after finally getting someone on the phone and things his wife told me didn't match up to my expectations. Seems I won't be getting any info on that lease until after July...

As for day lease as opposed to season leases, I'm going to have to prod a little more before making a decision. I'll be damned if I'm paying a season lease and not getting to choose where I hunt.

Dove hunting on the prairie is always hit or miss, with mostly miss after opening day. Especially when you have 150 guys crowded into one or two fields.

hopefully that isn't the case. supposedly there is 50 spots available on 2k acres... if there is near that amount of acreage then even bouncing one to another will be ok.

I would think the duck and fishing combo would be best in the Houston area compared to dove and fishing combo.

I did a great white wing dove cast and blast several years ago in the valley, near S. Padre. Stayed at the Dunkin house off the ICW. It was pretty awesome.

I've hunted with WGO for years. Tim and his wife Dee are good, honest people. They do not try and speculate what a dove season will be like months in advance.
Even though our group killed 465 white wing in 3 days last year with WGO, Tim will only say" We should have some dove".
c.leaman hunted with us on opener last year. You can send him a pm.

Tim with WGO is good people I have hunted with him for years on season dove lease and day hunts. Some years the dove are thick and some years you may shoot a few but I have always had a good time and never run into any issues.
just my 2 cents
