It's usually an ok show. I have a friend that sets up there and he said it was ok.

Waste of time. Biggest table had all their glocks for $900+. Rest of the show was similar.

I went and it was less than good. I like G&S, but todays show was not good at all, I saw everything in less than an hour and barely bumped into anyone while walking the isles.

Just got back from the show. It was the first gun show I've been to in about ten years, and it's safe to say I'm good for another decade.

I saw a few reasonable prices (shotguns), but mostly outrageous prices on guns, and especially ammo.

Glad it was close to home and the admission was only $6. The only thing worse than the high prices, is people were paying them. I asked one guy, who was rolling a cart of ammo around, how much for a brick (525rnds) of Win 22LR was? $85. I just turned and left him standing there.

Not worth the gas or the fee to get in the door. Has been like that the last couple of times. But hate not to support in hopes that it will grow.

The only way for it to grow is to voice your opinion towards the folks that put it on while continuing to support them.

These small shows have a hard time competing for vendors when there are so many shows going on every weekend. The Canton show was better than the last one, but that don't say much.Prices seemed a little higher on guns, but there was some ammunition that was avaiable but high to me also. The Waxahachie show was fair at best not many dealer tables but the walk around trade was pretty good. Also some ammunition that was woreth the money, but the vendor sold out of the popular calibers and did not return on Sunday. It is hard to ask a dealer to come to a small show when there is a Mesquite show the same weekend where they can see 100X them people for just a little more per table cost. Just my 2cents flag

You are right, the small show have to compete for the vendors and it makes really tough to have a show when there is a large show somewhere every weekend.
