Isn't there some brass that you can use to make 25-20 brass from?

there are 3 cases that use that same general case, 218 bee, 25-20 and 32-20. haven't looked at many sites for it but loaded ammo is available for $65 for a box of 50 rounds ammo link

I have used .32-20 cases. Just lube the necks very well, inside and out. Frankly, I've found .25-20 brass to be easier to scrounge than .32-20.

Never thought of that. Been looking for 25-20 ammo and brass for a long time. Have a set of Rcbs dies, have seen 218 and 32-20 brass on here before. Willhave to keep my eyes open in the future.

The other calibers work but I've been loading 218 mashburn awhile using 25-20 32-20 when I couldn't get Bee brass. Lube them real good and go slow on the press. Seems these calibers have some real thin brass and is easy to split.

I had heard that the 218bee was the best if 25-20 werent available. A guy the other day told me they are the exact same length, just need to change the neck.

The 25 is easier because its closer in bullet diameter, (3 diameters vs 5) they'll have to be newer cases though and maybe anneal them before necking up. Older cases I scrounged in the past were so thin I split the necks a lot and they only were good for one or two reloads. All those calibers are fun rounds. I have mine in a BSA Martini but id love to have a Bee in a lever gun. My Mashburn will equal a 222 easily. Wife loves it for a walking plinker/varmiter. She's an Aussie so the Martini is almost like kin.
