I can get my hands on a few different types of Accurate powder and was wondering if anybody has used AA4350 in a 264 win mag. I have 129 and 140 grain Hornady SST bullets and my dad is giving me some LR primers (not sure what brand). Any info would be greatly appreciated on 264 win mag reloads in general. Thanks!

Start here.
SLOW burning powders are your best choice.
Due to internal case volume you may need a magnum primer for consistent ignition.

AA4350 is a little fast burning for the 264 WM. It wouldn't be my first pick, but it will work with a light charge. I'd also recommend a mag primer, but a standard primer will work with the faster burning powders. Check out Accurate Arms website for load data or call them if it's not listed.

Has anyone used MagPro? That's all they list on their chart for use in the 264.

Haven't used it but will if and when I start reloading for it again in the near future.

MagPro is good. I would use something in the burn rate of H1000, R25, Retumbo. I have know a few shooters to use H50BMG when seating bullets out far close to the lands to gain more powder capacity. H1000 would be my top pick for the 140 grainers.

H1000 and US869. Have become my powders of choice in my 264wm. Both are pushing a 140gr very well. The 869 is running them 3200+ But it's a work up load for sure. Let's just say it's not listed in the books. If you can get H1000 go with it you'll like it.

I have for years used 77gr of H870 with a 140gr bullet. Unfortunately it's no longer available.I still load with it as I have a small amount still left.

Nosler lists H4350 starting load as the most accurate loading in their testing for 100 gr bullets

My buddy, long deceased, Virgil Roberson had a pre 64 Win I used to reload w/ IMR 4350..on 120 grain projectiles mostly..ran about
5% over max at his request because he had it throated for excess pressure..I saw him take So. Texas Whitetail off handed at unbelievable ranges...DD

WC872 is almost equivalent to H870.
In fact you use H870 data for it.
My loads with it are in the 78 gr range with a 130 and I'm getting 3350 with a 130 Accubond and 3400 with a 130 Berger.

HTDUCK,
I have 2 jugs of WC872 and a small amount of loading data for it(From Hi-Tech). Do you have any addition loading data for any calibers you could share by email? Scan or copy? Would appreciate it. I have loaded and shot some in 7Rem Mag but never Chrony it yet. I know it is like charcoal on the burn rate.
