Not sure if this has been posted before. Found out that Walmart in Kenedy and Floresville restocked their ammo on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. The guys there said to get there around 6am in Kenedy and around 8 am in Floresville to see what they restocked that day. They said some ppl show up each of those days but can only buy 3 at a time. I'm not sure if this is the same at all walmarts.

There might be some truth to that. I went to one of the three walmarts in my town and they had Fusion .223 ammo in stock. Guess I'll stop by Friday AM.

Different walmarts get different ammo shipments everyday. There isnt a set day for ammo. They also stock them at different times as well.

Maybe the guys lied to me. Idk. That's just what I was told by the guys at the counter.

Not saying they lied or the info given was wrong. Just saying that walmarts in this area are different. They dont know what ammo is coming right now until it leaves the dist center.

Got it. Makes sense. They said sometimes they get only 3 boxes and they used to get a lot. They said they don't really know what they will get like u said but my best chance of getting some is those mornings. Ppl could ask their walmarts and then they might know.

I haven't seen any ammo that I'd want in any walmart since December.... I'm really in need for some 380 ammo...

I've stopped buying but last I heard they were stocking early in the mornings and were out within minutes. I have seen more and more recently. If you are patient and persistent you will find what you are looking for at a reasonable price. I paid $13.50 a box earlier this week, for 3 boxes of 9mm (brass cased). Part of the problem are those waiting in line to buy up what they can, then try to re-sell at a huge profit.
Ethically I can not see doing that but each to his own... Maybe I'll change my own ethics if times get any harder.
