Here are pics of a pig kill one of my WTAMU friends got on their property near Childress. We do not have an exact weight of the entire hog but we do know the head alone weighed 75lbs, they weighed the head when it was caped out for taxidermy. There were 3 shooters, 2 had 7mm Mags and the 3rd guy had a .270. They all three shot at the same time to begin with. Then Both 7mm Mag shooters put two more additional shots into it. Then it was finished off with 4 handgun shots, 2 from a .357 and 2 from a .40.

In total the pig was shot 9 times: four 7mm Mag, two .357, two .40, and one .270.

Big Pig... I'm thinking legit 350-400 lb boar.

I agree 100%, only I think it may be pushing over 400. That looks pretty close to what a 4 to 5 hundred pound steer looks like when your sitting on them. Congrats!

I killed a pig that I guarantee you was minimum 400lbs. This pig easily looks like it dwarfs mine. I may be wrong, but my guess is this pig is over 500lbs.

Me too, and I agree. And the below was taken in the same area, just west in Hall County.
