My mom has a garden and there are rabbits getting into it. I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions on the best way to kill these suckers. Don't worry I've always wanted to try rabbit so the meat will not be going to waste. Oh, and she wont let me have a BB gun.

Growing up in Canada we would snare rabbits. The snowshoe hare runs a series of trails or we called the leads. We would find these leads and set a wire snare where they run. Not sure if the rabbits around here behave the same but it is a very effective way to get the rabbits. If you google rabbit snare there is all kinds of reference materials.

Just reminded me of an old corny joke. You know how you catch a unique rabbitt? You neek up on it. You know how you catch a tame rabbitt???? Tame way.... Sorry, I got nothing short of blasting em..

Not as fun as blasting and making a meal out of 'em, but strategically placed wicks soaked in bobcat or coyote urine should deter them greatly. You can get it in little vials at organic garden centers/nurseries. Never seen it in a big-box store. Good luck.

I was watching a show once and it seemed like you could suspend a piano over the area the rabbits like to gather and then release the rope at just the right time. Maybe you have seen this show. I believe that Acme makes the equipment.

put a snare in the trail. Rabbits usually use the same trail and come out at the same time everyday if they have a food source. We snared a few that were coming to the protien feeders regularly.

Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.

Yes this method does seem to work for them, I have not personally tried

I just cook the meat to well done and dont eat any green rabbit meat. I have cleaned a rabbit and meat had a green sheen, not appetizing.

I like to shoot them with my bow. Use a judo head.

I work hard, drink a little and hunt when I can.
