Some Higher Quality AR (or variant) Manufacturers (in no particular order).
LaRue Tactical Noveske Knights Armament Corp. Lewis Machine & Tool LWRC Daniel Defense FNH
I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

Mercedes are junk cars!!! If u r looking for a Mercedes quality AR, that would be one that looks nice but doesn't function well. So what's your idea of good car? If you say Ford or Chevy, then you definitely have lost credibilty in this agruement.
I'm a dude who likes long barrels!

LaRue upper, a good quality lower with a good trigger and LaRue mounts for the optics.

With that budget I would try and find an M16 If he does that he's going to need another $18,000.00 to 20,000.00 Every once in a while you can find them for 9 or 10K. Usually converted

KAC SR-15, and then throw a suppressor and some nice optics on top of it. Other than that, I can't think of a way to spend $7k on an AR15 for paper punching.

A friend of mine has the Turnbull Tar-15. Not my thing but... It certainly stands out in a crowd.
