Going to look at a lease little south of Rockwood Texas off of 283...Anyone know how the hunting is in the area?

All of Coleman county has a good mix of big deer and dense population. Let me know if you dont get on this lease. I am in the lookout for one and any help would be appreciated

Check the place out Saturday...seen a deer or two and lots of tracks along the Bull creek just off the colorado river.owner said no hogs but lots of turks...found feathers... Dirt was clayish looking with sandstone looking rock..place has a huge tank that said is full of fish....

I like it. If you're on a tributary of the Colorado, you'll have deer and tons of Turkey. Every year some great bucks come out of Coleman. Probably higher numbers of deer in southern Coleman cty.
Life is too short, as is. Don't chance it.

I know the area very well...I have a friend that lives near the community of "WHON". Its great hunting!!! Godd luck to you guys!

Well landowner call and said the lease was mine if i wanted it...check went in the mail yesterday...good thing is its a mile up the road from my old lease....
