Got a friend who picked this powder up yesterday to load up some 168gr bthp. Was wondering if anyone had previous start up loads they wouldn't mind sharing. I've also read that it has been used for 50-60gr bullets in 223. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check the reloading data center at http://www.hodgdon.com/ they list it the position above Ramshot TAC for burn rate, and list loads from 110 to 220 grain bullets.

Yep found some starting points on it. Thanks. Always like to see what others think of the powder and what not too.

I liked/loved it in 155gr 308's but I decided to run 185's and it didn't behave well for me. I was unable to get the velocity I wanted before I got signs of pressure.

For the lighter end of the spectrum, in .308, it's a great powder.
Meters better than Varget, so that's a plus.

It is a very good powder with the lighter bullets in 308 and 223. The heavier bullets won't get the higher velocity as a slower burning powder would, like already stated. But it should shoot very well for you.
