I do the lil holes across the gun. Much rougher, but I was wondering what you used on it.

I've done a lot of stuff
Glocks
Pmags
CMC power 10 mag bases
Glock mag bases
Xbox controllers
and just about any other plastic surface I needed a good grip on.

I use a wood burner

I use a soldering iron but your pics put mine to shame. Thanks for the tip.

Looks cool and I understand the usefulness of it, but definitely not my cup of tea. I couldn't bring myself to do it to one of my Glocks.

I think it feels great, and when done right, it looks like the gun was manufactured that way. I've seen some real nice jobs. I want to get mine done. I've heard of a guy named Paul peek/Peak that does a real good job. I would have to be well practiced to do it to my own piece.

Just practice on something plastic. It's very easy to do and it really enhances the gripping surface. I went heavy on the front and backstrap and easier on the sides.

JMO but if you are going to do something like that - at least on a Glock, plan to keep it forever. It looks terrible and will dramatically degrade the price you'll get for it...note I said my opinion, so don't rip me a new one.

Easy answer to the problem is just get a hogue grip on it...good grip, just take it off when you need to sell and no one will try to drive your price down for all the "holes" you put on the grip that can't be removed.

The problem with using a Hogue grip is they add more bulk and size to an already rather large grip. One solution that I have used is to buy a bicycle innertube, cut a piece and roll on to the grip. It gives the glock much more grip without altering the frame or adding any noticable bulk.
