I know they have ****** some folks off.. but here is an email they sent me:

Recently companies such as LaRue Tactical and Olympic Arms announced they will no longer sell prohibited items to government agencies and personnel in states denying civilians to own those same items. It has been and will continue to be Cheaper Than Dirt's policy not to sell prohibited items to government agencies and agents in states, counties, cities and municipalities that have enacted restrictive gun control laws against their citizens. We support and encourage other companies that share in this sentiment.

This cannot be fixed at the voting booth.. Wake Up You Morons!

Thats the popular thing to do right now but I dont trust them one bit. Once the dust settles they are going to have lost so many of thier past customers that they are going to have to sell to those agencies to make up for thier lost sales. CTD has already proven they care more about the dollar than anything else. This policy will probably change quicker than the price of thier P-Mags.

Their attempt to justify charging 3X what everyone else does. Sadly, there will always be enough fools buying there to keep the doors open.

I will only buy from them as a last resort. There are other companies local and online that I'd rather do business with way before CTD. Oh, and I'd rather buy from a THF member before going the retail route.

I'm amazed at some of the people I work with. They shop there and pay the ridiculous prices. Of course, most of them don't know their arse from their elbow.

Much like the gouging they did 4 years ago, then went on to do it again. There will continue to be sheeple that will shop there and keep the business afloat. I darkened their doors once since 2008 and then spent less than $5. Do not even know the exact location of their McKinney store cause never really cared to go.

Conratulations on winning the dumbest post of the week.

I have a problem with it as do many others and that makes us Americans excercising our right to shop where we damn well please for whatever reason we see fit.

I didn't say you couldn't shop where you want. I said if you have a problem with what CTD is doing your in the wrong country. Shop where you want to shop, pay what you want to pay, but stop whing about CTD because they are obviously charging what the market will bear or they would not be staying in business.

You don't like their prices, fine. You don't want to shop their, fine. You want to whine about what they are doing, take your socialist ideas about free markets elsewhere.

So when did understanding capitalism become dumbest post of the week material? I think maybe some of you may be a little confused

Your suggestion that we are in the wrong country for whining about CTD prices and that makes us socialists you my friends are in the wrong country. You are correct, we can shop somewhere else, and pay what we want and we can COMPLAIN about any damn thing we want as guaranteed by the 1st amendment which is just as American as the capitalist system. Capitalism is not just about supply and demand, it's about reputation and the market's willingness to do business with a company. We are simply suggesting that others don't do business with a company taking advantage of the current political environment for profit. Not a business I want to support and I have the right to share that idealism with others. If you don't agree or like what I say, you can simply not read my post. Attacking someone for expressing opinion is communist.

If I need something and they are cheaper than anyone else will I buy from them? You damn right Jim Sharp!!! Of course I haven't needed anything since this so called crisis either so the pricing hasn't bothered me. To each their own. I will do business with them and some won't. When the wonts out number the wills then we won't have to worry about it will we.

Ok.....so how do you feel about them not honoring the price posted on thier website when a order is placed? And not answering e-mails???? And charging me $14 to ship a partial order of parts that cost less than $10 and weighs .70lbs ??? And telling me that the rest of my order was canceled due to "depleted inventory" yet they certinly have penty of them at nearly 800% markup???? Or not calling me back after they said they would?????

I could go on and on......

That's just ******* customer service!!! That would send me elsewhere as well.

THF does not allow profane language. The word you used, spelling bypasses the language filter.

I'm not surprised that you failed to grasp the concept. I didn't whine about what they are doing. I pointed out that I and others are not stupid enough to support a company like CTD. How in the world you equate that with being a socialist is beyond ridiculous.
