I have a leupold vx-r 3-9 firedot on my lwrc repr and love it. It's super clear and bright even at dawn and dusk.

X3 on the vxr...next would be trijicon. Everthing else I've seen is either too bright or reflects back so bad its useless

Illuminated reticles are very distracting for me. However give me dot in the reticle and on as happy as a tick at a blood bank. I have a Burris euro 1.5x7 with the e dot.....basically the same as the Leupold fire dot. Either are top notch. That dot is all you will ever need and it makes your eye focus on the very center of the crosshair and not wandering around the hash marks and such.

My favorite one with an illuminated ret. was my Night Force. Then again it cost more than the gun.
My favorite one now (and yes it works well in low light) is my wifes Redfield Revenge 6-18x40mm. LOVE that scope.

I have a Vortex Crossfire with illuminated red dot and it works great. Mueller also makes some for around $150 with a dot. I have some with illuminated crosshairs but they are often too much illumination but better than nothing.

Another vote for the Leupold VX-R. I have the 1.25-4 and couldn't be happier with it.

Who makes your favorite scope with illuminated reticle that you use for spotlightin hogs and varmints? Leupold VX III, 1.5-5 Circle Dot for illuminated reticles. But for spotlighting, the Trijicon lights up perfectly as soon as it picks up a little light from the spotlight. No need to dial a setting. I use both.
I'm not as good as I once was. But, I'm as good once as I ever was.

I have a Nikon monarch UCC 3.5-10x50mm and love the dual illumination with this scope. I have it on a QD mount for an AR when I want to shoot things far away at night. It wears an Aimpoint Pro the rest of the time. Great scope.

I like the trijicons better than the vxr, mostly for simplicity. No.buttons, no.batteries, 1" tube. They both have great glass and the leupold is.cheaper, but i just love my trijicon.accupoints

Been looking for a good scope for my sig716 for hunting hogs at night. Think I am going to go with the Leupold VXR.
