I have a buddy we hunt with that's a surgeon here in Dallas, we bought him one of those Ginormous folding knives they had on the counter last year. We stop on the way to Rocksprings every year.....love Garvin store.

I have an OLD one that a old man gave to us. He has passed on now but it's an ancient mount that the hide is splitting but since it was from him, it's worth keeping. It's at my dads but I'll try to remember to get a pic. Sometimes they are just neat to have.

I wish I could find my Grandfathers mount he had hanging in the Brady DOT office when he retired in 1980. Grandma wouldn't let him bring it home, so he left it there. Who knows if still there, trashed, or someone took it home.

What he is not telling you is his great great grand daddy and great great grand daddy Garvin probably got drunk on perl, poached it, out of season, from the road, with a 22short, and cut a whole in the fence.... J/K smile

Like it Taylor!!!

Garvin's store is a landmark, they have great link sausage too. Go 12.5 miles north on 83 and you will be at our gate.

I like the mount, it's nostalgic.

Did you buy a leather vest, a 2 dollar hunting knife, and a bootlegged copy of Tombstone while you were there as well?
