What you really need is a 300 Winchester Magnum. That is the best caliber on the planet, probably even in the solar system and maybe the universe. Go get him! Shoot him in the face!

I can't believe they are putting one in waco before Houston. It'll do we'll in Waco I just feel like they are missing a huge market down on the coast.

I don't know what's in waco. But they might feel theirs to much competition here. I would love for one to be built around here though. Preferably out on the east side of town.

This is bad, that’s just to close. I'm more dangerous to my bank account in Cabelas than my wife is in a jewelry store.
We interrupt this marriage for hunting season.

About time. No more shipping fees for me. Might need to get a job there. That's about 4 miles from my house.

hot damn about time. they have been paying attention to the zip codes and where people are coming from. and figure right smack between the two that are already on I35 will bring some good business to waco at the same time

Guys I would not get TOO EXCITED look at the press release, the store will only be 42,000 square feet! that's less that 1/5th the size of the signature store in Fort Worth {247,000 square feet} it will be an outpost style store with only a small amount of gear, you will still have to order your stuff off the website and pick it up at the store. I suspect, no gun library, no museum, no gun range or archery range, no fly shop and no restaurant.....
just found this on the web, sorry to burst your bubble guys....
"Customers will be treated to all Cabela’s merchandise via online order kiosks, as well as free shipping to Cabela’s Outposts with an In-Store Pickup program. In-Store Pickup allows customers to order Cabela’s gear ahead of time and pick it up at their convenience at the store of their choice. Cabela’s Outposts, built with Cabela’s outdoor look and theme, also will feature seasonal product assortments in an Core Flex flexible floor plan, which will change to meet seasonal demands and provide a different look throughout the year. Digital signage will complement the interior layout."

And as much as I'd prefer it to be a bigger store, I'll take what I can get.

there will be in store merchandise, it is not just an place to pickup your orders. The in store selection will not be as much as the store in FW or the one in Allen. A lot of people thought the Store in Allen would be bad at 110,000 square feet but you have lots of selection in that store. The Waco store will have lots of things many of which will be rotated in and out depending on the season. The Kiosks are and have been there since the store opened in Allen, so nothing new there. You will also be able to order online from home and have it shipped to the store at no shipping charge on most items and have it held for you up to 10 days or more on request.
As far as a gun range the FW store does not have one, never has. I expect there will be a Gun Library as that is where the buying of used guns takes place and is a big part of business for them. Did you know you can look at the gun library online at all the Cabela's store locations?
For in store pickup all the Cabela's stores do that, that is where you go to pickup items you have put on hold or ordered that have come in from the ones you selected to save shipping on items shipped to the store.
lf the saying "Liar, Liar your pants on fire" were true Mainstream news might be fun to watch

Who cares about a gun library, museum, range, or a dang restaurant...I want free shipping and a store that offers duck gear like no one else in Waco...which is what we should get.
