Yesterday was the 2nd day fo the start of the 2013 Wise County Wild Hog Contest and so far these guys are in first and 2nd place... Matthew Little and Jim Bob Little 197lbs.  Michael Little and Brennan Williams 176 lbs.  The ranks will change quite a bit through the hog hunt and feel free to check the results at www.thehuntinggame.us.Winner will take a grand prize of $4050 and 2nd will take $2340. 81 teams signed this year. I will make sure to post the sign up information next year. Sorry guys...

Wish I would have known about that contest. Would have talked my neighbors into signing up to give them some motivation to pop more hogs. We're pretty covered up and have a few monsters.

It lasts till March 10th... We even got a new leader this morning with 208 lbs.
The website is keeping a lot of people updated about it, we may even put on a big buck competition for Wise and surrounding counties this fall. Lots of supporters!

There is one that passes through my place that has to be 400+. His prints are as big as a cow and he's just massive. Only time I've seen him in person was on a neighbors place. That said, I haven't seen him in 3-4 months. Largest I'd ever seen out there. I killed one that was over 300 three years ago and this guy would dwarf him.

That on eis pushing 400 in the pic... but it will definitly take over 300 to win the contest this year. 288 won in last year and we have more than double the entries.
