hhmmm, well firstly, if you are somewhere between Mesquite and Plano ....lets talk about getting some AA1680 powder. the drive is a bit far for me to east dallas/Mesquite..
A lot of people end up liking LilGun. that one just seems so much like a load where powder shift could come into play, but cant argue with success.
Forum says "Veteran Tracker". I could not track a garbage truck into a fireworks factory.

Thanks - I don't load yet but am planning on starting. Have a friend who's been beyond avid at it for years and has volunteered to help get me going. Will pass on this info.

I'll second AA1680 as the go-to powder for the 221 Fireball. Mated to a 40gr bullet, it's phenomenal. RL7 is another excellent choice. LilGun has been harder to tweak for good loads. AA2200 is also applicable, especially for the 45-50gr pills.
