I am really impressed to see such longevity in staying with the same gun or type gun as in 1911's, Sig's or Glock's. Muscle memory will take over in a stressed incident and being intimately familiar with your daily carry is a key component to surviveability and safety for you, your loved ones and innocent bystanders.

EAA Witness compact .40 caliber 2 years Now there is a gun not mentioned very often, but supposed to be a decent quality gun. Never handled or shot one, just read about them in years past.

S&W 686-4. Nightstand gun for 8 years.
Kel-Tec P11, right at a year. Easiest little nothing of a gun to carry, always goes bang. Before that my longest relationship was with a CZ75 Compact. I have serious commitment issues with handguns.

I have several in different calibers and finishes, all have functioned perfectly!nd fit my hand very well. Also have a couple TZ-75's which were also made by Tangfolio...I really like the alloy versions but I am not a big fan of the polymer...in any pistol. In the past TZ-75's and alloy Witness's could be found at a very reasonable price but they are now getting pretty scarce.

Dan Wesson .357 mag since 1974. IT is on its 3rd barrel and second cylinder, fourth park job, numerous springs. It's my lucky gun. Every time the SHTF, it has gone bang. I never go in harms way without it.

9 mm Makarov for around 15 years; Planning to add S&W Shield 9mm to my collection; will see if S&W will replace the Makarov.

About 30 years ago, bought an 1911 GI .45 clone. I have others, but she's my first choice.
2nd choice Light cal...High Standard HD Military .22LR
If the 2nd amendment was written just to include guns for hunting, why is there not an amendment to protect fishing poles?

Heckler and Koch P7 PSP. In my opinion, there is no finer carry gun in existence. It has been at my side for a meager two years but is on a temporary hiatus as I am out of state.
Building, shooting, and buying machine guns of all shapes and sizes.
